Community Outreach

Currently, we are involved in the following:

ADOPT A STREET

In 2009, the App State Dance Team adopted a street in Boone. It is our responsibility to visit it 3 times a year to keep it clean. For more information on how to adopt a street in Boone, please visit Adopt a Street.

LOCAL COMMUNITY SERVICE

The App State Dance team is commited to serving our community outside of our University! The team has visited local Watauga County elementary schools for special occasions like National Women In Sports Day, celebrating the first week of school, varying festivals, and even traveling to Winston Salem to perform and participate in a pep rally for Appalachian State’s very own Acedemy at Middle Fork.

Our team also looks forward to walking and participating in the 4th of July Parade for the Town of Boone each Summer!
